It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane Loy of Edgewood, Illinois, who passed away on December 19, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Sapp and Luella Sapp (Ramsey); her former husband Fred Cook; her children, Freddie Cook and Betty Ann McElyea; her siblings, Leroy Sapp, Earl Sapp, Ralph Sapp, Vernon Sapp, Carrell "Jake" Sapp and Mary Cruse; and her grandson Whipple.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd Loy of St. Elmo; and her daughters, Pamela Loy (Jeff) of LaClede, Cathy Landreth of LaClede, Chris Whipple (Lonnie) of Vandalia, Barbara Landreth (Joe) of LaClede and Gail Fisher (Scott) of Dayton, Texas. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
