It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rodney Murk of Edelstein, Illinois, who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin H. Murk and Florence R. Murk (Zuck); his sister Barbara Adams; and his brother-in-law Jerry Goss. He is survived by: his wife Julia Vollmar of Edelstein; his children, Amelia Rose Murk of Edelstein and Daniel Otto Murk of Dunlap; his sister Rebecca Goss of Galesburg; his brother-in-law Don Adams of North Henderson; his nieces and nephews, Jim Goss, Bob Goss, Mike Adams, Jane Griffith and Michelle Adams; and his daughter Amy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West, Inc. (1070 W Fremont St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Akron-Princeville Ambulance in Princeville, Illinois.
