He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Gleich and Bette Gleich; his parents-in-law, John and Roxanna Hensel; his brother Ron Gleich; and his brother-in-law Hensel.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Gleich (Susie); his daughters, Jennifer Hays (Matt) of Monroe City and Jamie Long (Aaron) of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Tyler, Ella, Avrie Hays, Colton and Emmy Long; his brothers, Jack Gleich (Nancy) and Bill Gleich; and his sister-in-law Linda Potter (Larry Dell). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
