He was predeceased by: his parents, James Glenn and Lena "Gertrude" Wooldridge; and his siblings, Jerome Wooldridge and June Funkhouser. He is survived by: his sons, Samie J Wooldridge Jr. of Florida and James Wayne Wooldridge (Shelly) of West Virginia; his brothers-in-law, Donald Butler and Roger Sandefur; his spouse Heloris Rose Butler Wooldridge; his sisters, Claudette Apperson (Jim), Judiann Miller of Alabama and Sue Gustine of Ohio; and also Caroline Wooldridge-Trammel (McGuire) of Brighton, IL.
