He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Louise and William H. Turner, Sr.; his wife Gladys Magnolia Chambers Turner; his brother Alfred Earl Lucas; his friend Bishop Claude Ratliff Sr.; and his daughter Sheila K. Turner-Jackson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gina D. Turner, Lorna S. Turner-LaGrone and Mia P. Turner; his grandchildren, Beauont Hopson, Jr., Timotheus LaGrone, Endya LaGrone-Vincent, Mathius Harris, Anastasia Harris and Austin Harris; his great grandchild Chace Kaiden William Clayborn; and his aunt Barbara Jean Davis. He is also survived by daughters and family.
