It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thurman Cotton (East Saint Louis, Illinois), born in Shuqualak, Mississippi, who passed away on October 4, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Natalene D. Harper. He is survived by: his children, Rosalyn R. Cotton of Omaha, Nebraska, Thurman T. Cotton of Omaha and Vincent R. Cotton (Marsha) of Mesquite, Texas; his sisters, Kay F. Lue of Omaha and Marjorie Fulton (Freddie) of Fairview Heights, Illinois; his aunts, Bernice Mayhorn of Milwaukee and Gladys Cotton of Omaha, Nebraska; and the mother of his children Erma Jean Cotton. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
