She was predeceased by: her parents, O. Jerome Singleton and Rosalia M. Singleton; her husband Charles; and her siblings, Doralyn A. Young, Jay and Robert Singleton.
She is survived by: her sons, Arthur Jay Haynes (Marilyn) and Gregory Bats; her grandchildren, Stacy Jones, Joel Jay Haynes and Jasmine Haynes; her nephew John B. Young (Kay); and her goddaughter Vicky Pettiford. She is also survived by several nephews, nieces' cousins and many friends.
