We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2019, at the age of 98, May Helen Heady (East Saint Louis, Illinois), born in Mounds, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Fields and Emma Fields (Young). She is survived by: her spouse L. C. Heady; her children, Herman, Florence and Emma; her daughter-in-law Snovia; her siblings, Lillian McKissack, John Fields and Lucille Johnson; and her cousins, Milo Elmo (Anita) and Theila King. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
