He is survived by: his mother Emma May Smith of Belleville, IL.; his children, LaShonda Smith of East St, Mack Smith IV of East St, Michell Smith of Houston and Altamese Tenu (Charles) of Ghana; and his siblings, Margaret Smith of Belleville, IL., JoAnn Smith of Belleville, IL, Diane Smith of Dupo, IL, Betty Cave of Jefferson City, MO, Jeannette McClendon of Cahokia Heights, IL, Jeannette Kaszczyszn (Alberto) of Chicago, IL, Belinda Woodard (Danny) of Jefferson City, MO, Jannie Dunbar (Billy) of Jefferson City, MO, Terry Smith (Edward Gully) of Belleville, IL and Ruth Hawkins (Oreo). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
