He is survived by: his fiancée Jackie Gaiter; his children, Roderic Horne and Monica Settles-White (Leonard Anderson) of Fairview Heights, IL; his grandchildren, Mikhail and Angelina; his siblings, Carole Settles, Janeen Hawkins (Greg) of Baton Rouge, LA, Edwina Settles of Fairview Heights, IL, Kenneth Settles of East St and Antoinette Blackburn of Atlanta, GA; his in-laws, Bernardette (Alfredric Cathion), Bernard Gaiter (Kathy), Cheryl Hardison (Van), Bobby Gaiter (Barbara), Wendy Jimerson, Michael Gaiter Sr., Ava Arnold (Willie), Yolanda Blair (John) and Donna Gaiter; and his godmother Sister Julia Husikamp. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins; a devoted supporter and friend.
