With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jesse Wayne Steiner Sr. (East Saint Louis, Illinois), who passed away on June 2, 2018 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Elizabeth Steiner. He is survived by: his spouse Joyce M. Ford; his children, Jesse Steiner Jr (Laura), Crystal Counts (Jack) and Julie Counts (Jerry); his grandchildren, Abigail, Emily, Duane (Kelly), Jerry, Rebecca (Darrin), Rachel (Matthew), Megan (Lee), Luke and Marlee; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Mason, Brantley, Olivia, Derez, Caidence and Aspen; and his brother Kenneth Steiner (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial gathering for Jesse will be held on Thursday June 7, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, 3412 Frank Scott Parkway West, Belleville, IL. 62223 Memorial Service will be held at 12 p.m. at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, 3412 Frank Scott Parkway, Belleville, IL. 62223 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or Humane Society.
