He is survived by: his wife Elaine Brooks; his daughter Alexandra Brooks of Dallas, TX; his siblings, Garnetta Williams (Larry) of Godfrey, IL, Rashelle Brockinton, Debra Custard of Cahokia, IL, Ollie Russell Jr. of Denver, CO and Darnell Russell; his sisters-in-law, Rhonnetta Jones of Belleville, IL and Katie Brooks; his nieces, Marlene Williams Godfrey, Melanie Williams of Belleville, IL, Tremorla Gardner (Derrick) of Shiloh, IL and Jacobi Graham of Houston, TX; his great-niece Mayah Gardner; his great-nephews, Cornelius Moore and Derrick Gardner Jr. of Shiloh, IL; his uncle Willie Lane of St. Louis, MO; and his aunt Barbara Lane. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
