It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Woods (East Saint Louis, Illinois), who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Swift and Lucille Swift; and her sisters, Irene Sheppard, Anna Bell Swift, Lillie Mae McGuire, Bessie Lee Mitchell, Alberta Jackson, Sammie Swift, Corine Sullivan (Eddie Swift), Isabella Mitchell and Berniece Swift.
She is survived by: her spouse Lane Donald Woods; her daughters, Terrie Elaine Woods of Texarkana and Anita Woods (Ed Cosby) of Swansea, Illinois.; and her half-siblings, Linda Shelley (Cleave) of Oklahoma City, OK and Jimmy Swift of Mark Tree, AR.
