He is survived by: his children, Demetria Carter (Ellis), Gordon Russell (Geneva), Tony Russell, Jason Russell (Charlotte Jacobsen), Diane Russell Valley, Donald Russell (Susie), Dean Russell (Carolyn) and Gale Kyles; his siblings, Reverend Fannie Russell Taylor of St. Louis, MO and Edward Russell (Juanita) of Belleville, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Mattie Russell of Arlington, TX, Janyce Skinner of Collinsville, IL and Frank Skinner of Belleville, IL. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
