She is survived by: her sons, Edward Damon Smith (Vickey) of Tucson and Eric Danti Smith (Rochonda) of Marietta, GA; her stepchildren, Shelly Carter of Arizona, Kara Toomer of St. Louis, Don Moore of Cahokia Heights, Kevin Moore of St. Louis and Kenneth Toomer (Anna) of Santee, California; her siblings, Crystal Weston White (Wayne) of Virginia and Willie Arnold (Tiya) of East St; her grandchildren, Aleph Smith, Jaume Toomer, Eric Malik Smith, Aisha Moody, Tanisha Kendrick-Dunn (Dale), Erica Milner, Taminique Cooke, Imani Kiya Smith, Kennedy Weston, Dahani, Nylie Dunn, Lailah Moody and Maleah Bustamante; her godchildren, Amari Grace Ward, Charrenee Underwood, Bridget Matthews, Andrew Lilton and Mikel Collins; her sisters-in-law, Dr. Melvinia Wilson, Regenia Griffin and Janet Russell; her sister Jymeka Martin; and her nieces and nephews, Kadesh White (Desteni), Kaleb White (Amber), Robert Tetu, Dr. Dawn Wilson Kendall (Dante), Kellee Wilson Love, Justice Arnold, Truth Arnold, Brooklyn Arnold and Makayla Renee Harris.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Luke A. M. E. Church (414 N 14th St, East St Louis, IL 62205). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery (10101 W Main St, Belleville, IL 62223).
