He was predeceased by: his parents, Lotis Thomas and Marie Kolesar (Kleaver). He is survived by: his wife Gloria June Rogers; and his children, Pamela Cooley (Gary) of Washington, Jeanette Wennmacher (Ron) of Peoria, Jeffery Kolesar (Elizabeth) of Tacoma and Todd Kolesar (Collette) of Utah. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother and five sisters.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (504 Fulton St, Peoria, IL 61602). The inurnment was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Mausoleum & Cemetery (7519 N Allen Rd, Peoria, IL 61614).
