Shirley Eileen Venyak Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Eileen Venyak of East Peoria, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Shirley Eileen leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stuart Wahl and Olive Wahl (Howell); and her husband Edward "Ned" Venyak. She is survived by: her children, Steve Venyak of Pekin and Kandy Venyak of St David, IL; and her grandchildren, Michelle Gaede Peters (Julie), Zack Venyak (Jenny), Stacey Sweeney (Ryan), Boyd Critz and Collin Martis. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the St David Nazarene Church.
