He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Derrick and Myrtle Adams Derrick; his wife Nancy Lee Boster; his children, Nick Derrick of Washington, IL and Sandy Pearce of East Peoria; his grandsons, Michael, Christopher Pearce, Nicolas and Nathan Derrick; his great grandchildren, Jordynn, Jayda and Michael Pearce; his friend Main Street Café; and his brother Jack Derrick. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to any local VFW or to the American Legion Post #100 in Washington.
