With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert C. Lane of East Peoria, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on November 6, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Robert may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles R. Lane and Margaret Lane (Luncsford); and his wife Carol Sue Knoll. He is survived by: his children, Bobby Lane (Debbie) of Quinton, VA, Jeff Lane (Lynn) of Morton, IL, Nicole Rodseth of Germantown Hills and Angela Menold (Ken) of East Peoria. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel (375 Old Germantown Rd, Germantown Hills, IL 61548). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
