It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard R. Henderson of East Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Verle Henderson (Bud) and Vaneda Henderson (Paul); his stepmother Hazel Henderson; his great grandchild Abigail Sutton; and his stepsiblings, Wilford, Glenn Blakley and Nancy Blakley.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Malott; his daughters, Tina Paine (Robert) of Peoria and Mary Sutton (Mike) of East Peoria; his grandchildren, Michael Sutton (Jamie), Rachel Hathway (John), Matthew Sutton and Zachary Paine (Taylor Strickler); his brothers, Ron Henderson (Jean) of East Peoria and Don Henderson (Dixie) of East Moline; his stepbrother Scott Blakley (Lori) of Ipava, IL; and his brother-in-law Verl Malott (Glenna) of Ipava. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
