It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. Knutson of East Peoria, Illinois, born in Oak Park, Illinois, who passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Erling Knutson and Myrtle Knutson (Ingeldsen); and his wife Nancy Johnson (Whitaker). He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Barnard (Britt) of Bloomington, IL; and his stepchildren, Joshua Johnson (Trisha) of Washington, Michelle Campbell (Brad) of Marinette, WI, Amanda Babic (Milos) of Elgin, IL and Rachel Dew (Adam) of Bloomington, IL.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
