It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Schoch of East Peoria, Illinois, born in Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on September 18, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilda Hester Shelton (Schellenbaum) and Robert Shelton; her husband Raymond M. Schoch Jr.; her sister Madalyn McNally; and her stepdaughters, Robin M. Pauli and Rae Lynn Peplow.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory J. Hamilton of Peoria, Scott W. Hamilton of Peoria and Victoria L. Waldrop of Bartonville; her stepchildren, Phillip M. Schoch of Marquette Heights, Laura Sweeney of Peoria, Sandy Schoch Campbell of Barrington, IL and Ruth Morris (Jim) of Mapleton; her adoptive daughter Christine Martin; her sister Roberta Joann Phelps of Hiawassee, GA; her nephew Rand McNally (Carol) of Mequon, WI.; and her grandchildren, Lacey, Nicholas, Nathan, Jennifer, Katie, Greg, Alex, Anne, Casey, Cody, Brandon, Amber, Phillip, Erin and Mike. She is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren.
