She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hermann Baumann and Doris Baumann (Abbott); her husband David H. Strickler I; her sons, David Strickler II (Faith) of Marquette Heights, IL and Jeffrey Strickler (Michele) of Washington; her grandchildren, Kailey Knetzer (Ed) and Bradley Strickler (Hailey); her great grandchild Lexi Knetzer; and her siblings, Sharon Wilson of Peoria, IL, Deborah Morici of Fairhope, AL and Michael Baumann (Becky) of DeSoto, MO..

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in her name may be given to the TAPS no-kill shelter in Pekin, IL, or a charity of the donor's choice.
