It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orajean M. Haedicke of East Peoria, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Burdette and Gertrude Burdette (Lamm); her husband Arthur W. "Bud" Haedicke; and her siblings, Donald Burdette, Gordon Burdette, Ed Burdette, Florence Beck, Viola Rose, Lucille Bachler, Evelyn Starcevic and Dorothy Schwerer.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Haedicke (Debbie) of East Peoria, James Haedicke (Cathy) of East Peoria and Joyce Dries (Jack) of East Peoria; her grandchildren, Elaine Haedicke Thornhill (Brian), Gary Haedicke (Erika), Jennifer Dries Wick (Brian) and Joe Dries (Allison); and her great grandchildren, Riley Fisher, Steven Dries, Avery Dries, Luka Haedicke, Lexi Labraaten, Cecilia Redfield and Claire Redfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Haedicke Family Cemetery, c/o Lucille Haedicke, 296 Ten Mile Creek Road, East Peoria, IL 61611.
