She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nathan Reed and Hildred Reed (Ames); her husband James E. Lewis, Sr.; and her children, James E. Lewis, Jr. of Valparaiso, Ind., William N. Lewis, Sr. of Valparaiso, Ind., Marjorie Winkler (Floyd) of East Peoria and Donna Smith (Ronald) of East Peoria. She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and four brothers.
