It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Elizabeth Soon of East Peoria, Illinois, born in Bellaire, Ohio, who passed away on February 15, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Burton and Alice Elizabeth Schnegg Hendershot. She is survived by: her sons, James Han Ling (Colleen) of Lacon and John Wong Lee (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Melinda Elizabeth Jordine (Kyle), John Christopher Soon and Benjamin James Soon (Sierra); her stepgrandchildren, Sarah Duncan, Stephen Duncan (Anna), Matthew Drake (Megan) and Benjamin Drake; her great grandchild Scarlet Elizabeth Jordine; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Aleah Linda Drake, Weston Drake, Emmett Drake and Noah Drake.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Preachers Aide Society.
