He was predeceased by: his parents, John Oliver and Frances Elizabeth Elzea Shuford. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jeanne Van Winkle; his children, Jennifer Bridgewater (Walter) of East Peoria and Louis "Don" Shuford Jr. (Cindy) of Washington; his grandchildren, Danielle Klein, Ryan Bridgewater (Kim), Bethany Shuford and Lisa Bridgewater; and his sisters, Frances Koeller (Harry) of Quincy and Betty Dolbeare of Louisiana, MO. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ro-Land Manor Baptist Church or Threads, Hope & Love of Washington.
