He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Plemmons and Catherine Plemmons (Dycus). He is survived by: his wife Debbie R. Sweet of East Peoria; his children, Sondra Plemmons of East Peoria and Nicolas Plemmons of Washington, IL; and his siblings, Ivan Plemmons (Debbie) of Elkville, IL and Sylvia Horton (David) of DeWitt, AR..
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at 121 Cemetery Rd, Spring Bay, IL 61611. A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bible Baptist Church (3004 W Lake Ave, Peoria, IL 61615).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to either Bible Baptist Church Building Fund, 3004 West Lake Avenue, Peoria, IL 61615 or to your local fire department in memory of Jim.
