We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2022, at the age of 91, Herbert John Kiesewetter of East Peoria, Illinois, born in Metamora, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kiesewetter and Catherine Kiesewetter (Adams); his siblings, Harold, Franklin, Lorena Gangloff and Alivina Jenn; and his grandchildren, Cyle and Lorraine.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis M. Schiffbauer of East Peoria; his children, Vickie Sochocki (Larry), Cathie Pezanoski, Joe Kiesewetter (Kim), Pattie Dennis (Dave), Michelle Pezanoski (Terry) and Michael Kiesewetter (Ellen); his grandchildren, Trevor, Connor, Alex, Brad, Brent, Brandon, Jeremy, Lindsay, Colin, Nathan, Brock, Reed and Katarina; and his siblings, Alice Markiewicz, Luella Shawhan, Marge Mason and Art Kiesewetter. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, 424 Lourdes Church Road, Metamora, IL 61548.
