He was predeceased by: his parents, Don W. Rhodes and Lois H. Rhodes (Biehler); his significant other Sandra Cook; his stepgrandson Carl Warner; and his brother-in-law John Richard.
He is survived by: his sisters, Janet Richard of Knox, IN, Marlene (Dave Andrews) and Connie Rhodes of Ferndale, MI; his stepchildren, Stephanie Cook of Burlington, IA and James Reynolds of Des Moines, IA; and his stepgrandchildren, Annika and Tristan Cook. He is also survived by three nieces and three nephews.
