We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2023, at the age of 77, Gerald Martin Emery of East Peoria, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Emery and Ethel Emery (Carter); his siblings, Richard Emery, Marge Beall and Marilyn Sullivan; and his son Norman Emery.

He is survived by: his former wife Linda Chavez; his son Kevin; his wife Patrica of East Peoria; his daughter-in-law JoAnn Emery of Metamora; his grandchildren, Jonathan (Brittney), Elizabeth and Miranda; his daughter-in-law Rachel Emery of Clinton; and his grandchildren-in-law, Hannah, Michaela (Devane), Jason (McKenna), Sarah, Levi and Naomi. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials be given to Illinois Cancer Care, 8940 North Wood Sage Road, Peoria, IL 61615, or to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 530 NE Glen Oak Avenue, Peoria, IL 61637.
