We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2023, at the age of 79, Gary William McKinney of East Peoria, Illinois, born in Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. McKinney and Retha Clara Chambliss McKinney; and his brother Randall. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Bean; his children, Melissa Camaione of Mt. Vernon, IL and Christopher McKinney (Jennifer) of Faith, NC; his grandchildren, Andrew Camaione (Xiaoxi Huang) of Chicago, IL, Peter Camaione of Mt. Vernon, IL, Katharine Camaione of Charleston, IL, Paul Camaione of Mt. Vernon, IL, Keaira McKinney of Phoenix, AZ and Anglas McKinney of Phoenix, AZ; and his stepgrandchildren, Isaac Jeans, Sunshine Jeans and Joshua Jeans. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highview Christian Church (General Missions Fund), and if desired, a specific designation may be made to Pioneer Bible Translators, Papua New Guinea/Spence Family.
