He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Robert and Lillian Straesser (Bell). He is survived by: his children, Gaylynn Allen of Groveland, Kristin Rembold (John) of East Peoria and Bennett Straesser of Crossville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Raechel Pfahl, Reid Rembold (Kat) and Ian Allen-Kruzan (Will); and his sister Janis A. Straesser of Peoria.
