It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Elizabeth Allen of East Peoria, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 58, on January 2, 2025. Though Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elizabeth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Wilkinson and Ann Wilkinson (Ottenheimer); her nephews, Charles Andrew Pletcher and Stanley Zeus Pletcher of Round Lake, IL.; her grandmother Verna Belle Duncan Wilkinson; and her aunt Sue Ottenheimer Frumkin.
She is survived by: her sister Melissa Wilkinson Pletcher (Matthew); and her nephew Miles Harrison Pletcher.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davis-Oswald Funeral Home (328 S Locust St, Tremont, IL 61568). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Castle Bible Church (17931 Dee-Mac Rd, Mackinaw, IL 61755).
