He was predeceased by: his parents, Flip Phillippi and Dorothy Chalmers Phillippi. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Young; his children, James "Foot" Ryder of Oneida and Michelle Dutton (Art) of East Peoria; and his grandchildren, Sherry Godsil (Sean) of Galesburg, Jake Ryder (Cali) of Holland, IA, Shane Hubbard (Maggie) of Galesburg, Amanda Baker (Bob) of Bartonville, Monica Diver of Washington and Meagan Dutton of East Peoria. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
