He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Frank and Esther Nora Shaw (O'Brien); and his sister Joyce Boyer. He is survived by: his sons, Matt Shaw of Oveido, FL and Mark Shaw (CJ Morris) of Germantown Hills; his grandchildren, Callie, Natalie, Emma, Chloe Shaw, Morgan Mariah and Matthew Shaw; his sisters, Betty Klopfenstein (Paul) of Morton, IL and Sally Bone of Henry, IL; his partner's children, Jessica Soja (Seth) of Zionsville, IN, Jeff Deeds (Kayla) of Washington, IL and Robert Barton (Karyn) of Miami, FL; his pets, Brutus and Archie; and also, Emma, Isaac, Ethan, Isla Deeds, Josie, Cameron and Andrew Soja. He is also survived by one niece and nephew.
In lieu of flowers preferred memorials in Dave's memory may be made to T.A.P.S in Pekin or St. Jude Runners.
