It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David L. Payne Jr. of East Peoria, Illinois, born in Lebanon, Kentucky, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David L. and Geneva Payne, Sr. (Hartfield); his sisters, Sara Squires and Carol Tomasko; and his half-brothers, John Payne and Forrest Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Rudolph of East Peoria; his daughter Diana Hoffman (Brian); his granddaughters, Bailey and Rebecca Thrasher; and his brother Jerry Payne (Sheryl). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in David's name to the TAPS Animal Shelter in Pekin, IL or the First Baptist Church in Havana, IL.
