He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Pickerill and Mary Virginia Pickerill (Harmon); his wife Kitty Rettig; his children, Paige Harrmann (Bob) of Morton, Brian Pickerill (Lisa) of East Peoria, Rob Pickerill (Jen) of Peoria and Mark Pickerill (Nicole) of Morton; his sister Kathleen Pickering (Tom); his grandchildren, Sean and Lauryn; and his sister Peggy Anderson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate, Blessed Sacrament School in Morton, Sophie's Kitchen at St. Joseph Church, or OSF Hospice.
