With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann E. Downes of East Peoria, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on August 15, 2022 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ann E. Downes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony McClernon and Doris McClernon (Foster); and her brother Jack McClernon. She is survived by: her children, Mark Pendergrass (Susan) of Afton, Virginia, David Pendergrass (Kim) of East Peoria, Matt Pendergrass (Jacque) of San Antonio, Eric Downes (Crystal) of Great Cacapon and Julie Henderson (Bill) of Morristown; and her siblings, Tom McClernon (Nancy) of Spirit Lake, Mike McClernon (Susie) of Indianapolis and Mary Kirkpatrick of Kewanee. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude St. Louis to Peoria Run.
