He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmon Harshaw and Selma Griffin; his sisters, Edna Germon and Gracy A. Harshaw; and his wife Mattie.
He is survived by: his son Donald F. Harshaw (Olie); his grandchildren, Shavon S. Harshaw of Naperville, Simone S. Harshaw of Lombard, Illinois and Donald F. Harshaw (Ruhma) of Delaware; his great grandchildren, Daylen-Jordan, Lola Nina, Dawson-James and Damien Mohammed; and his nieces and nephews, Dr. Donald William "Donnie" Johnson (Rhonda), Keith R. Foreman, Anthony Foree (Rebecca), Dorothy Ann McGee and Patricia S. Boyd.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (1501 6th Ave, East Moline, IL 61244). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the great-grandchildren.
