He is survived by: his spouse Patricia Sims; his children, Peggy Livingston (Michael) of East Moline, Danny Emerson (Martha) of Cleveland, TN and Timothy Emerson (Florence) of Englewood, TN; and his siblings, Glenda Sue Childress of Hamilton, AL, Bonnie Emerson of Hamilton, AL and Don Emerson of Hamilton, AL. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
