She was predeceased by: her spouse Cecil Yates Jan; her son Larry Yates (Gladys) of East Moline; her grandchildren, Tom and Elizabeth; and her sister Brenda Lady of Kentucky.

She is survived by: her parents, Robert Lady and Dolly Lady; and her daughter-in-law Linda Yates.
