She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Abrams and Nellie Abrams (Moss); her husband Leo C. Walz, Sr.; her son Leo C. "Carl"; her daughter-in-law Pamela J. Walz; and her grandchildren, Miranda, Brad, Joyce and Chad. She was also cherished by nine great grandchildren; and three great, great grandchildren.
In accordance with restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a face mask and observe social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to RICCA (Rock Island County Council On Addictions) where Thelma served many years on the board, or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
