With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven Michael Churchill of East Moline, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2024 at the age of 57. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Steven may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Billeray "Bill" Churchill and Lila Churchill (Jordan); his sister Dana Bennett Douglas; and his brother-in-law Sid Strombach. He is survived by: his sons, Brandon Churchill of Geneseo, IL and Dagan Churchill of New Windsor, IL; and his siblings, Ray Churchill (Andrea) of Albany, IL, Lori Knight of East Moline, IL, Shelley Strombach of Cordova, IL and Brenda Kachelhoffer (Steve) of Dodgeville, WI. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
