He is survived by: his children, Lauren Kress of Omaha, NE, Katelynn Fritz (Tyler) of Geneseo, Dylan Kress of Chicago and Dustyn Kress (Cierra Piasecki) of East Moline; his siblings, Russell Kress (Lori) of Colona, Julia Skemp (Chuck) of Dubuque, IA, Amy Kress-Jordan (Tom) of Dubuque, IA and Staci Lange (Jim) of East Dubuque, IL; his brother-in-law Doug Vondran of Dubuque, IA; and his grandchildren, Camden, Blayne, Lillian and Owyn.
