He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry VanDeHeede and Alice VanDeHeede (Maddelein). He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Mike VanDeHeede, Jim VanDeHeede (Lynn) and Jill VanDeHeede; his grandchildren, Jacob, Bailey, Ali Jo, Anne Marie, Daniel and Luke; and his great grandchildren, Hunter and Remi.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Christ the King Church (3209 60th St, Moline, IL 61265). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Alleman High School or Alleman Booster Boys Football.
