He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Tanghe and Germaine Tanghe (VanHecke); his sister Marie; his brother-in-law Don Lannoo; his granddaughter Kayla DiIulio; and his great grandchild Noah Papish.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Redecker; his children, Lisa DiIulio (Joe), Bettendorf, Julie Bausch (Brian), Carol Cutkomp (Mike) of Venice, FL and Paul Tanghe; and his grandchildren, Joey DiIulio (Jamie), Tom DiIulio (Brooke), Krista Papish (Damian), Grace Copen-DiIulio, Alex Bausch, Amber Bausch, Jeff Cutkomp (Sara), Dan Cutkomp (Emily), Peyton Tanghe and Megan Tanghe. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church or Wounded Warriors.
