He was predeceased by: his parents, William Berthoud and Ruth Berthoud (Mallas). He is survived by: his children, Tina Berthoud of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Billy Joe Berthoud of Peoria, Samantha Smith (Timothy) of Hillsdale and Robert Berthoud (Cassie) of Hannibal, MO; his grandchildren, Lexas Berthoud, Abby Berthoud, Hunter Berthoud, Teagan Berthoud, Amelia Jacobsen, Arya Smith, Noah Myers, Hazel Berthoud and Christopher Chaney; his siblings, Mary Anne Smith (Andre) of Carbon Cliff and William Berthoud Jr. (Pam) of East Moline; his nieces, Tammy McAlonan, Shelly Ortiz and April Hendrickson; and his close friend Captain Kirk.
