He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Colgan and Maburn Colgan (Scorby); his siblings, Philip Colgan and Judith Colgan; and his brother-in-law Jim Snow.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Smith; his son Ryan Colgan; and his siblings, Michael Colgan (Lynn), Patrick Colgan (Kathy) of Rock Island, IL and Janet Snow (Colgan) of Mattoon, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
