Paul M. Nelson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul M. Nelson of East Moline, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 25, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Nelson and Pearl Nelson; his wife Norine E. Nelson (Tuinstra); his son-in-law Michael; and his siblings, Betty, Lorraine, Jim, Carl and Raymond "Oscar".
He is survived by: his children, David Nelson (Kim), Ruth Hays and Steve Nelson (Cari); and his grandchildren, Matthew, Mark (Emory), Michael (Olivia), Sarah, Aaron (Krystal), Isaac, Rachel, Abigail (Wesley), Cole (Katie), Luke (Maddie) and Lydia. He is also survived by two great-granddaughters; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory (6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Family Church (12811 US-150, Orion, IL 61273).
